2014 CrossFIt Regionals Day 3 Workouts

Day 3 Individual workouts for the 2014 CrossFit Regionals have now been released!

Day 1 and Day 2 workouts were released over the past two days meaning the full individual programming for all Regional Events has now been made public.

Athletes will compete two workouts on the final day of competition. Here is a closer look at Event 6 & 7 which will take place on Day 3 of the 2014 CrossFit Regionals:

Event 6: For time:
50-calorie row
50 box jump overs, 24/18 in.
50 deadlifts, 180/120 lb.
50 wall-balls, 20/14 lb.
50 ring dips
50 wall-balls, 20/14 lb.
50 deadlifts, 180/120 lb.
50 box jump overs, 24/18 in.
50-calorie row

This workout has a 21-minute time cap and requires both men and women to complete all reps in their designated lanes. Athletes can complete their box jump overs however they wish as long as they begin with a two-foot jump off and do not use their hands. For the ring dips, athletes shoulders must pass below the top of the elbow at the bottom and the hips must travel below the rings.

Event 7: For time:
64 pull-ups
8 overhead squats, 205/135 lb.

Athletes will complete all reps in their designated lane with a six-minute time cap for the workout. Any type of pull-up is allowed as long as the requirements are met, this includes dead hang, kipping or butterfly pull-ups.
