CrossFit Reebok’s World Record

CrossFit Reebok 3D World Record

CrossFit Reebok 3D World Record

Not sure what was in the air this week but it was full of world records. First, it was Behdad Salimi’s world record breaking 214kg snatch and now 3D Joe and Max broke not one but two Guinness World Records.

3D Joe and Max, known around the world for their visually spectacular 3 dimensional artwork, were this week commissioned by Reebok CrossFit.

The artwork was part of the 7th annual Guinness World Records Day where this year an estimated 300,000 people took part in a variety of world record attempts.

When completed the artwork measured a whopping 9,601 square feet and took a week to be created. The optical illusion depicts a waterfall cascading into a gorge where CrossFitters can workout on the edge of the abyss.

In the end it was so big Guinness World Records awarded the British artists both the largest and the longest 3 dimensional painting ever created.

You can check out the how it was done and get a better sense of the scale in the video below or see more of the artists’ work if you click here
