CrossFit Regionals: SoCal Update

It’s regarded as the toughest qualifying regional for female CrossFitters: the SoCal CrossFit Regionals.

With names like Kristan Clever, Katie Hogan, Rebecca Voigt, Lindsey Valenzuela and Andrea Ager all competing against each other, there is never going to be a dull moment on the sidelines.

With only one day of competition remaining, Rebecca Voigt leads the women’s field by one point to Valerie Voboril. 2010 champ Clever is in third spot overall with Valenzuela, Ager and Hogan all close behind her.

29 year old John Pera is the surprise leader in the men’s half, with Kenneth Leverich in second spot. Josh Golden, however, who impressed so many during the Open is struggling to secure qualification to the Games, sitting in 23rd position overall with just two events remaining.

In the team division, CrossFit Invictus leads the field.
