Father & Daughter Competing at the 2014 CrossFit Games

David and Heather Hippensteel share a special relationship at the 2014 CrossFit Games. While many fathers and daughters turn up to the StubHb Center to cheer on their loved ones, both David and Heather are in Carson, California as competitors and supporters.

Earlier this week, David Hippensteel finished 5th in the Men’s Masters 55-59 Division, but now with his competition over, he’ll spend the weekend cheering on his daughter Heather, who is part of CrossFit Invictus in the team division.

Going into the final day of competition CrossFit Invictis are in 2nd place overall, just 20 points shy of NorCal CrossFit in first place.

We caught up with David Hippensteel on Day 3 of the 2014 CrossFit Games to hear about his performance at this year’s Masters competition, his special relationship with daughter Heather, and his thoughts on this year’s competition.
