Team Canada Announced for the 2015 CrossFit Invitational

It’s now official – the CrossFit Invitational is returning in 2015 as many of us expected.

The international event started back in 2012 when Team USA beat Team Europe in the UK.

In 2013 the competiton was held in Berlin, Germany, with Team World defeating Team USA, while last year the event saw four teams compete, with Team USA provng too strong for Team Canada, Team Europe and Team Australia.

At this stage we are still short on details about the 2015 CrossFit Invitational, but what we do know is that Team Pacific will be competing at the event with HQ announcing the make up of thier team earlier in the week, as well as Team Europe.

We now also know that Team Canada will be competing after thier team roster was announced a short time ago.

Team Canada will consist of:

Camille Leblanc-Bazinet – 2014 CrossFit Games champion and 13th place finiser in 2015.

Emily Abbott – 8th place finisher at the 2015 CrossFit Games.

Lucas Parker – Bearded CrossFit veteran and 14th place finisher at the 2015 Games.

Alex Vigneault – Finished 11th at the 2015 CrossFit Games.

Michelle Letendre (coach) – 18th place finisher at the 2015 CrossFit Games.

At this stage no date or location has been set for the 2015 CrossFit Invitational but an announcement is expected later in the week.
