What the 2025 CrossFit Open Results Mean for the Season Ahead

With the Open officially wrapped up, athletes are now laser-focused on the next big challenge — the Semifinals.

1. Individual In-Affiliate Semifinal

  • Dates: May 1–5, 2025
  • Format: Athletes will complete prescribed workouts at their respective CrossFit affiliates, allowing for a familiar environment while maintaining standardized competition protocols.

2. Individual In-Person Qualifying Events

  • Dates: April 5 – June 17, 2025
  • Format: Athletes will compete in designated venues, facing off directly against peers in a live setting.

Following the Semifinals, the top athletes will advance to the pinnacle event: the 2025 CrossFit Games, scheduled for August 1–3, 2025, at the MVP Arena in Albany, New York.
