Chris Hogan made his first appearance at the 2009 CrossFit Games where he finished 31st at The Rance in Aromas. He backed that up in 2010, placing a respectable 26th. In 2011 he made it a three-peat, claiming his best performance to date, securing 17th in the world.
Yet Hogan failed to qualify for the Games last season after he placed 7th at the 2012 Australian CrossFit Regionals.
As this weeks 2013 CrossFit Open comes to close, Hogan sits 22nd in Australian, meaning he has once again qualified for Regionals, providing him the opportunity to compete at his fourth CrossFit Games.
We caught up multi-Games competitor before this years 2013 CrossFit Open commenced. We discussed a range of topics — from his performance last season, his current training regime, who he thought would be some names to look out for, and his goals for the 2013 season.
