Christmas Abbott, the coach and owner of CrossFit Invoke in Raleigh, North Carolina was on ABC News today.
Abbott placed 16th with her team at the 2011 Reebok CrossFit Games Affiliate Cup. Yet it is her recent attempt to become NASCAR’s first woman pit crew member that has garnered her the most attention.
It is always great to see how people like Abbott are using their fitness. Although in this instance, it appears her strength and conditioning that she adopted through CrossFit is not only helping her live a better life but helping her break down social barriers as well.
