Yet another CrossFit Team has taken on the Big Bob Winter Challenge at The Ranch in Aromas, with CrossFit Fort Vancouver having a shot at the workout.
The 2010 Affiliate Cup winners traveled all the way from Washington to California to take part in the challenge. In the end it was worth their while, with the team finishing the workout in a time of 23:38.
Their time was 2 minutes and 11 seconds under then benchmark time set by the ‘Seminar Super Team’ of Jason Khalipa, Neal Maddox, Sarah Hopping and Katie Hogan. That means CrossFit Fort Vancouver will now have their affiliate fee waived for the next year.
CrossFit Fort Vancouver is one of many teams to take part in the challenge, with CrossFit Diablo finishing in 32:32 and Hack’s Pack UTE registering a time of 22:43.
The record, however, still stands with the ‘Seminar Super Team’ who finished the workout in a time of 19:09 in their second attempt.
For those keen on taking part in the challenge, there is still a few days left before the January 30 deadline.
