Austin Stack is the new overall leader in the Men’s division with just one day of competition remaining in the North West CrossFit Regionals.
The 27 year old, who failed to qualify for the Games last year, has taken the top spot from Jordan Holland who finished a disappointing 23rd in the Chipper workout.
Kevin Simons is in second spot, while Yurli Hanson rounds out the top three. Last years Regional champ, Jesse Disch, is sitting in fourth place, 11 points out of the qualifying zone.
In the women’s comp, a few familiar faces are on top of the leaderboard. Last years winner, Samantha Petersen sits in second spot overall, with Cheryl Brost five points ahead in first place. Alexandra Seal is third.
CrossFit Fort Vancouver lead the team division after winning three of the four events, including Event 4, where they became just the fourth team in the world to complete the workout within the time cut-off. They have some strong competition from CrossFit Intensity, however, who are behind only on count-back. Jet City round out the top three.
