Denae Brown: “2015 Will be my Last Year Competing”

Denae Brown continues to establish her credentials as one of the world’s leading athletes, taking out the 2014 Schwartz’s Challenge.

The 17th place finisher at the 2014 CrossFit Games dominated the competition, finishing 56 points ahead of her nearest rival, Amy Dracup.

Brown finished inside the top 6 in every event, including four 1st places.

We caught up with 35 year-old mother shortly after the final event to hear her thoughts on this year’s Schwartz’s Challenge and how she’s preparing for the 2014 CrossFit Invitational to be held in San Jose, California on November 9.

In the above interview, Brown also broke the news that 2015 will be her last as a competitor. She’s revealed she plans to focus on other things, including opening her own box next year.
