Looks like some of the big names of CrossFit in the men’s division are starting to throw down in workout 12.1. Last years 2011 Open winner, Dan Bailey just did the workout and scored 138-repetitions. Although if Dan is approaching this years Open as he did last year, you know this won’t be his final score and may be the reason his attempt is yet to be seen on the leader board.
Last year’s winner Rich Froning Jr, scored 141-reps, although like Bailey his score is also yet to appear on the Games site and could just be the simple fact of not having entered it yet.
Someone who is on the leader board is 2011 5th place Games finisher, Blair Morrison. Morrison who is know for his outdoor training and establishing CrossFit Anywhere posted 133 reps, sliding him into 53rd place along side well known CrossFit veteran, Pat “The Manimal” Barber, who also scored 133.
James Hobart who was on last years Affiliate Cup Championship team CrossFit New England, is in 226th place with 124-reps. Although no mention of Hobart can be complete with his road trip sidekick Austin Malleolo. Malleolo was an early Games favorite last season and is now a trainer at the Reebok CrossFit One Affiliate is sitting in 43rd position with 134-reps.
Finally is celebrity training, Biggest Loser coach and the newest member of the community to drink the Kool-Aid, Bob Harper who posted a very respectable 118-repetitions.
