As we all know, the new year is all about new beginnings and resolutions.
With the 2013 CrossFit season about to get underway, we caught up with some of the world’s best known CrossFitter’s to find out what their resolutions are for 2013.
Today we reveal 2008 CrossFit Games Champion Jason Khalipa.
At the age of 22, Khalipa made CrossFit history by claiming the second ever CrossFit Games title. Going into the event, very few people even new who he was, and even Games Director Dave Castro admitted to not even knowing his name heading into the final workout!
However, after upsetting the likes of Chris Spealler, James FitzGerald and Josh Everett, Khalipa left the CrossFit Ranch with the title of being the ‘Fittest Man on Earth’.
Since then, Khalipa has never looked back, competing in the next four CrossFit Games, finishing 5th overall in 2012. With another year behind him, Jason Khalipa is ready to compete in yet another CrossFit Open this year.
Here is his New Year’s resolution for 2013:
“To develop and maintain the best CrossFit gyms in the world. Allow our employees and myself to do what we love for a living. Expand our new Non-Profit. Never stop enjoying CrossFit.”
We’ll reveal another top CrossFitter’s New Year’s resolution tomorrow.
