As we all know, the new year is all about new beginnings and resolutions.

With the 2013 CrossFit season about to get underway, we caught up with some of the world’s best known CrossFitter’s to find out what their resolutions are for 2013.

Today we reveal Regional Champion and CrossFit Games competitor Kara Gordon.

With just one year of CrossFit experience behind her, Kara Gordon took part in the first ever CrossFit Open in 2011, where she managed to qualify for the Australian Regionals.

After finishing 19th in her first real competitive event, Gordon returned to the Regionals in 2012 as a relative no-name.

However, after breaking a world record, and then claiming a Regional title, Gordon went to the Home Depot Center as a real contender for a top ten finish last year.

In her first appearance at the CrossFit Games, Gordon finished 19th overall.

With another year of training behind her, Gordon is preparing for another CrossFit season in 2013.

Here is her New Year’s resolution for 2013:

“My New Years resolution is to return to the Australian Regionals a better and smarter athlete than ever before and work my way to the games to finish what I didn’t finish last year!”

We’ll reveal another top CrossFitter’s New Year’s resolution tomorrow.
