We’re now more than three days into workout 12.3 of the 2012 CrossFit Games Open, and we’re starting to get a bit of deja vu, with both last years winners now leading their divisions.
In the men’s half, Rich Froning Jr, holds onto the top spot, while Annie Thorisdottir leads the women’s comp with just one day to go.
However, there are still plenty of big names yet to register a score for week three, including 2010 champ Kristan Clever, so it’s fair to say we can expect a few more changes in the final 24 hours.
Regardless, at 5PM Sydney time, 10PM PT, this is how the leaderboard’s stand:
Well, there’s been no real change to the women’s leaderboard today with Annie Thorisdottir remaining in top spot, and with Emily Bridgers still in second place. The big mover in the division is Canadian Camille Leblanc-Bazinet who has climbed to third after posting the 7th best score overall for workout 12.3 (466).
34 year old Michelle Crawford also managed to get 466 reps in the workout and now enters the top ten for the first time this open.
All eyes, however, are on 2010 Champ Kristan Clever to see can reclaim the top spot from Iceland Annie when she posts her score for the workout. With only one day left we can expect to see it up soon.
With less than one day remaining in week three of the CrossFit Games Open, it appears Rich Froning Jr. is safe in the number one position.
Today his score in workout 12.3 became official, jumping him to number one on the leader board. His top score of 531 is still yet to be beaten, and it looks like, even if it does, he will remain in the top spot.
Last year’s CrossFit Games Open winner Dan Bailey also managed to break the 500 mark (519) this week, moving him to third on the leaderboard.
Josh Golden remains in second spot.
In the Team’s competition, there is yet another leader after day three with RAW Training leading the event for the first time this year. The box from the Mid Atlantic region is in top place after posting the best time for workout number three with 2449 reps combined.
In second place is Front Range CrossFit, who posted 2299 reps in the WOD, while RSC Honey badgers are now in third place after scoring the eighth fastest time of the week with 2344 reps.
last week’s leader CrossFit Valley is still no where to be seen on the daily screens, but with the week three deadline fast approaching, we can expect them to put up a score in the next the next few hours.
