Another milestone for Reebok this week, with the major CrossFit sponsor opening it’s first Reebok Fit Hub in the United States.
The 2,500-square foot store is located in New York City on Fifth Avenue at 37th Street in Manhattan, and sits directly above the Reebok CrossFit Box Gym.
For those who have never heard of a Reebok Fit Hub, it is basically a store where CrossFitters, and other athletes, can purchase a wide range of fitness apparel and footwear for men and women.
The Fit Hub stocks a number of essentials for garage trainers like kettlebells, medicine balls, Nano shoes, dumbbells and also offers in-store advice from CrossFit/fitness experts.
The Reebok Fit Hub concept started last year with stores opening up in Korea and Russia, before another store opened in Dubai in 2012. This Fit Hub in NYC is the first in America, and could be one of many in the states before the end of the year.
The idea is great as it allows people to workout downstairs in the Reebok CrossFit box, and then head upstairs to check out some equipment and apparel.
The official opening of the Reebok Fit Hub also featured a few big names in the CrossFit world. Six times Games veteran Chris Spealler joined 2012 CrossFit Champions Annie Thorisdottir and Rich Froning in unveiling the store.
