In The Rx Review’s latest Box Tour series, we travelled to Sydney, Australia to check out some of leading CrossFit gyms in the popular city.
In Part 1 we visited CrossFit Wellbeing. The affiliate is located in the northern suburb of Belrose around 30 minutes from the CBD.
The gym is owned and run by two-time regional competitor Alex Renieri. Renieri started CrossFit following a successful professional rugby league career, where he played for three club’s in Australia’s NRL.
According to CrossFit Wellbeing’s website:
“CFWB is more than a typical ‘Globo Gym’. We have a great open space and outdoor area for sunny sessions with equipment varying from gymnastic rings to olympic lifting, rowing machines to skipping ropes. Our specific programming targets all functional movements which develop key components of health including core strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.
CrossFit Wellbeing offers the most effective workout program possible using the proven CrossFit Methodology for training. Our sessions are simple, extremely functional catering for all age groups and fitness levels.”
