The 2012 Outlaw Open was held over the weekend – the first ever organized and programmed competition held by leading CrossFit coach Rudy Nielson.
The invitational event was held at the SHPExpo in the US, and had a number of world class CrossFit athletes taking part.
In the end, after 6 gruelling workouts, it was Lindsey Valenzuela who took out the female division, with Matt Hathcock winning the men’s half.
Some of the other notable male competitors were Zach Forrest (9th), Nate Schrader (4th) and Daniel Tyminski (2nd).
While in the female side of things, 2010 CrossFit Games Champion Kristan Clever (4th), Elisabeth Akinwale (2nd), Rebecca Voigt (3rd) and Becky Conzelman (5th) all competed.

The Outlaw Open was held the same weekend as the USA Weightlifting American Open. Most competitors also competed in the weightlifting event, with their O-lifting scores counting towards their overall score for The Outlaw Open.
