Max Greenfield’s Athlete Bio
Another big name has signed up for the 2013 CrossFit Open, with famous American actor Max Greenfield registering for the global online event.
The 32 year old is believed to be the first Golden Globe nominee to sign up for the Open, and joins almost 40,000 other athletes to have registered in the past week.
Greenfield is best known in the show-biz industry for his role as Leo in Veronica Mars, Nick Pepper in Ugly Betty and Schmidt in the current Fox sitcom New Girl.
In the 2013 CrossFit Open, Greenfield will be competing out of the Southern California Region, and will be representing Brick CrossFit, where he currently trains.
Now, while his day job is acting, Greenfield’s CrossFit figures are fairly impressive. According to his athlete bio, he can deadlift more than 340 pounds and clean and jerk 205 pounds.
In addition, his stats show he can snatch 155 pounds, which is what reigning CrossFit Games champion Annie Thorisdottir snatched at the 2012 Regionals during the snatch ladder.
There’s no doubt many fans will be keeping an eye on his name during the Open when it gets underway March 6.
