In an interesting twist to CrossFit Open workout 13.2, Camille Leblanc-Bazinet will no longer be going head-to-head with dual CrossFit Games Champion, Annie Thorisdottir on Wednesday, 5Pm PT.

Leblanc-Bazinet explained the matter on her Facebook Page stating:

“Hey guys, I just wanted to give you all exactly why I couldn’t make it for the second open… I am from Canada and I was simply waiting to receive my visa to be abble (sic) to pass the border and sadly it came this morning which was to late for me to be abble (sic) to go down to Brooklyn and plus I didn’t want to put the crossfit staff in trouble and not have a girl throw down… thanks for stopping all the ridiculous speculation… 🙂

and I can’t wait to see those 2 girls throw down toguether (sic) … I am heart broken that I couldn’t make it and feel like I let everyone down but I couldn’t risk not being allowed in the country…”

Annie Thorisdottir will now face Lindsey Valenzuela in what stacking up to be an very intriguing event.

13.2 is scheduled to take place this Wednesday, March 13th at 5pm Pacific Standard time.
