2013 CrossFit Invitational Tickets On Sale Sept 19

If you were planning on attending this year’s CrossFit Invitational, you might want to keep a close eye on the CrossFit Games site over the next 24 hours.

HQ has just announced tickets to the 2013 showpiece in Berlin, Germany, will go on sale September 19, 2013 (American time). At this stage we haven’t been told what time they will actually be released, but to make sure you don’t miss out, keep a close eye on the Games site, and their Facebook page Thursday morning (Pacific Time).

On October 26, a crowd of around 2,500 is expected to pack the stands of the Tempelhoff Airport to watch Team USA take on Team World. Tickets will cost 30€ each, and just like last year, they are expected to sell out fast!

In 2013, Team USA will be make up of Rich Froning, Jason Khalipa, Ben Smith, Lindsey Valenzuela, Valerie Voboril and Talayna Fortunato.

Team World, on the other hand, will feature Sam Briggs (England), Camille Leblanc-Bazinet (Canada), Kara Webb (Australia), Chad Mackay (Australia), Frederik Aegidius (Denmark) and Albert-Dominic Larouche (Canada).

At this stage we still don’t know any details about the programming for the 2013 CrossFit Invitational, but last year’s event had three stages with 10 scored events. The teams faced off with head-to-head workouts, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 6 on 6.

Doors will open at 5PM CEST with the main event kicking off at 7PM.
