As we all know, the new year is all about new beginnings and resolutions.
With the 2013 CrossFit season about to get underway, we caught up with some of the world’s best known CrossFitter’s to find out what their resolutions are for 2013.
Today we reveal Regional Champion and dual CrossFit Games competitor Lucas Parker.
Parker started CrossFit training back in 2005, and took part in his first competition during the 2010 Sectionals.
After claiming the Canada West Regional title in 2011, Parker competed at his first CrossFit Games a few months later, finishing 26th overall.
In 2012, Parker lost his regional title to Jeremy Meredith, but still qualified for his second straight CrossFit Games, where he went on to finish in 15th place.
This year, Parker hopes to break into the top 5.
Here is his New Year’s Resolution:
“I usually don’t make New Year’s resolutions. As a student, my year begins in September. As a CrossFitter, my year of training begins at the close of the Games in July. I need to have all my plans and goals laid out in advance. So, January 1st is a fairly insignificant date for me!”
We reveal another top CrossFitter’s New Year’s resolution tomorrow.
